I live up here in the wilds of Vermont, in a mostly communal intentional community of crazy souls. I live with my wife Amanda and baby boy Drew, and three or four other families.

I spend my days trying to take care of the details that will make this community thrive, but in general I'm not a practical, detail person. I thrive on psychology, philosophy, imagination, fantasy, meditation, music, spirituality, writing, life, death, education, birth, sex. I spend most of my time lost in thought on these subjects. If only I could get around to doing something with those thoughts.

Things I'm interested in are: collecting music, especially live music; reading of all sorts, writing poetry, essays, stories, journaling; being computer geeky; designing roleplaying games and theoretically playing them; enjoying the outdoors, lounging about or hiking; learning more and doing more in sustainability, including building, farming, community building; philosophy and psychology, particularly educational philosophy.

I've been in Vermont for over four years, but we've moved a lot, and still have not put down roots. I'd be especially excited to hear from other Vermonters.
